Harvard medical professor and asthma scholar Josh Boyce ’81 sent in a photo of young Skiddies working in his lab this summer. The group is Boyce, Molly Kidder ’10 (heading to Mt. Sinai Hospital in NYC, then med school), Kasia Baranowski ’11 (beginning PhD study at Harvard this month), Dave Remillard ’12 (beginning PhD study next year, after half a year in China), and Anya Cutler ’12 (bound for grad/med school in the next couple of years). Missing is Jennifer Zacharia ’12 (also med-school bound) — Boyce says she missed the photo because “she was at lunch — we occasionally allow them to eat!”
You can read about Skidmore’s boom in pre-health studies and its way-above-average med-school admission rates in the fall issue of Scope magazine, due out in mid-September.
